Frontgate is a terrible company for follow-up!

Frontgate is a bad risk to purchase from: about a year ago, a new bath towel selvedge started to fray and when I called & I asked them if I needed to send proof of defect they said no and replaced the item right away. Great. But the big expensive stuff like umbrella parts....not so good. Most of the time, the CS reps just don't want to deal with anything complex, so they fluff it off. Today, I spoke with Cana, a very helpful CS rep who spent the time to research the purchase and I've been promised a return call from parts. We shall see if I actually hear from them. Frontgate's problem is they don't make ANYTHING, they are just a big expensive reseller that boasts of quality and uniqueness but doesn't back it up. One should carefully consider the aggravation issue when ordering from Frontgate. Caveat Emptor.....
Later the FG CS dept emailed me that "due to confidentiality agreements, they won't give out the manufacturer's info" and they won't sell to the public - of course FG won't provide the parts either. So, buying anything from FG is a poor risk.

Disappointing

I bought something by mistake, i called customer service, the lady on the phone immediately started pointing out i was not going to receive the full refund plus how lengthy the process would be.
They found every possible thing to reduce the refund (shipping, gift card) plus it took three weeks.
They seel good products but you better don't return it, otherwise, they will show how bad as a company they are.
I WILL NOT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN, PERIOD.

Steal your face right off your head

Well, they would if they could.
I just went to buy a pool floatie "on sale." It had a pretty print, but it wasn't much different from the one I bought at Costco ( nice price!) as far as its construction and materials were concerned.
Once I started to check out, the " sale" item had an additional $10 " fee" plus shipping and handling. It pretty much doubled the price of the sale item. No thank you.

I have succumbed to Frontgate's charms twice in the past. But I've been had. Their goods are foreign made and not the quality they appear to be in their catalogues.
And Frontgate's prices are outrageous. Shop around before you buy from them. The catalogues are slick- don't be sucked in by marketing. You're just aiding and abetting thievery.

Terrible Towels and Bath Mats!

I spent a lot of money on the large resort towels and bath mats. Washed them and had enough "fuzz" to knit three sweaters! After the wash they are still full of lint. When folding, my shirt was covered in lint. Washed in cold water and dried on low/delicate. Just awful!

BEST Customer Service in any category, anywhere, in years.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST customer service I've had in any category in the past couple years. Shamra was extremely helpful, empathetic, FAST, thorough and wonderful. I am so confident purchasing things at Frontgate knowing that I will be wonderfully taken care of should my items not be perfect.

The absolute WORST online shopping experience!

Save your time, money and mental health––DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM FRONTGATE!
My delivery was 2 months late and customer service was just lip service all around. They don't care about their customers at all. The worst online shopping experience I ever experienced.

I asked for a FULL refund because after two months of waiting, I still haven't received anything and the delivery company NEVER picks up or responds to emails.

100' Retractable Hose Reel

100' Retractable Hose Reel
Item # 144861. I've had my current reel for less than two years and have brought it inside during the winter. They have major flaws that cause internal leaking, which Frontgate has informed me is not repairable. I sent them pictures of the exact part that is leaking, and asked for a replacement part. They would not provide a replacement piece, and haven’t offered to replace the reel itself. Essentially, they’ve told me I’m on my own. If you buy this, expect to get just a couple years out of it before it needs to be replaced.

STAY AWAY! Read the bad reviews!

Absolutely horrible experience with this company. Ordered a custom sign with our address to display out front. Took over 3 months to get it. And guess what. Once the package came... It was empty inside! There was NOTHING! I have been in communication with customer support for almost 2 months now... with no help whatsoever. Hope my Credit Card company will give me the money back now.

NEVER AGAIN!

For this caliber of a company, who charges shipping fees and return fees for items WE already spent a good amount of $$$ on! They absolutely do not care about customer satisfaction. Clearly, they have this policy in place because they have too many items returned, which says enough! Pottery Barn, RH and other companies would never. If you sold quality products and guaranteed your items, then you wouldn't have to worry about charging your customers who aren't satisfied; they must NEED the money.
Never again will I recommend or buy from Frontgate.

Getting the Run Around

It pains me to have to give such a low rating to Frontgate, since I have bought products from them that I have enjoyed. But, this time it is different. On April 23,2022 we purchased a cafe table and four chairs from Frontgate. We waited weeks to hear something about their delivery. It seems they got caught up in a freight company called AIT that is hired by Frontgate. The only help I received was from a nice man at AIT that informed me the table was lost and so were the chairs. Eventually, the chairs were found, they were delivered, but they arrived broken. By this time it was May 25,2022. At this point Frontgate had not assisted us at all. We called Frontgate to tell them we wanted to cancel the order. The chairs arrived broken and the table was still missing at the freight company. Today is June 16,2022, and nothing has happened. The broken chairs still sit in our garage taking us space. The table has not been found. Frontgate has still not told us anything except have five or six of their assistants email us to say they were sending it to their Transportation Department, their Management Team, or AIT is experiencing delays, someone will contact you in 24 hours, etc. etc. Etc. We are still waiting to receive our refund of over $900 that they have been sitting on since April. I am shocked that Frontgate has such EXTREMELY POOR MANAGEMENT skills. Don't purchase from this company. They have VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. No one has called or emailed to tell us what is going on. The Management Team, the Service Team, the Traffic Department, etc., none of them have told us anything. We just keep getting excuses. They can't even pick up the chairs in our garage. They need their Traffic Department to research why our chairs have not been picked up. Everything will take 24 hours, 3 business days, two to four days, - it goes on and on!
So today I still have 4 broken chairs in my garage, one missing table that I don't want anymore, and my money not returned. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

It is a "front" which seems to exist for the sole purpose of being a dumping ground for the company's Online returns.

I purchased four Austin bar stools at Frontgate.com in March of 09. I did not receive product until August 09. And then I had to return actually 3 of the stools due to damage, poor workmanship, etc. Now the replacements are falling apart. These are $600 each... do you think the quality should be better than it is? YES would be the answer... this is absolutely a rip off.
